About
Independent, clinic-agnostic guidance for dental work in Colombia
Colombia Dentist connects international patients with Colombia's top dental clinics and explains, in plain terms, what treatment there costs, how the process works and what to check before you fly. We are not a dental provider.
What we do
We are a guide, not a clinic. Colombia Dentist exists to connect patients from abroad with independently operated, certified dental clinics in Colombia, and to give them enough honest, clinic-agnostic information to decide whether the trip makes sense at all. Every treatment decision stays between you and your dentist; our part is the introduction and the homework that comes before it.
The case for Colombia, as the home page lays it out, is about the bill rather than the materials. Colombia's top clinics use the same Straumann implants, E-max veneers and Nobel Biocare materials found in leading US practices, along with CAD/CAM milling and digital workflows. The price comparison we publish uses 2026 averages, and the Colombian figures include materials and lab work, so the two columns can be read like for like.
What the site covers
Two numbers from the home page frame the logistics: typical treatment takes four to seven days, and flights from the US run three to five hours. Both matter for anyone who may need to return for adjustments, which is why we treat travel as part of the plan and not an afterthought.
- Procedures: veneers, implants, All-on-4, crowns, root canals, full-mouth restoration
- Cities: four Colombian destinations, one standard
- Why Colombia: same materials, same brands, different price
- How it works: from first contact to finished treatment
- Resources: the article library
The resource library
The Resources section is where most of our effort goes. It runs to close to two hundred articles, and they are not sales pages. Recent pieces cover what travel insurance actually covers for elective dental work, how to read before-and-after photos without being misled, what a heart condition or daily blood thinners mean for a dental appointment abroad, and how Colombia compares with Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. There are guides for UK patients facing NHS gaps, for digital nomads working from Medellín, and for the companion who comes along.
We write these because the questions arrive whether or not we answer them. Articles that touch on medical conditions are for education only; they are not a substitute for a conversation with your own doctor and dentist.
How to get a quote
The Free Quote page is the starting point. Tell us what you need and we pass the request to a suitable clinic; the consultation, the treatment plan and the price come from the dentist, not from us. Colombia Dentist is part of Colombia Medical. The privacy and terms pages are linked in the footer, and the contact page reaches us directly.
